Cookies for Causes: A Holiday Bake for Good
When Stories, Cookies, and Community Come Together
Cookies for Causes began with ten tech leaders, ten charities, and a shared belief that when people show up honestly, real impact follows. What we didn’t expect was just how deeply those stories would land, or how powerfully a community would respond.
Over the course of this holiday season, executives opened up about deeply personal experiences: parents lost too soon, children navigating neurodevelopmental challenges, living with chronic illness, surviving cancer, facing food insecurity, and finding strength through community support.
They didn’t just bake cookies.
They shared pieces of their lives.
And in doing so, they invited others in.
Together, they helped raise $10,459 for ten incredible organizations — with 100% of donations going directly to each charity. No fees. No deductions. Just generosity moving straight into impact.
Ten Stories. Ten Causes. One Community.
Each baker created a cookie inspired by the cause closest to their heart — and paired it with a short vignette sharing why that organization matters to them personally.
From mental health to autism services.
From food insecurity to multiple sclerosis.
From cancer research to community health.
Every story was different.
Every cause mattered.
What united them was courage.
Courage to be vulnerable.
Courage to share lived experience.
Courage to ask their networks to care.
And people listened.
Friends, colleagues, families, and strangers showed up in comments, reposts, donations, and quiet messages of support. Charities leaned in, amplifying stories and celebrating every milestone alongside us. Executives rallied their communities. Momentum built — one post, one donation, one conversation at a time.
This wasn’t marketing.
This was humanity in motion.
What Happens When People Lead With Heart
By the end of the campaign:

- Thousands of dollars were raised for life-changing programs
